About Mashburn

HARRY MASHBURN, CEO
Harry Mashburn has over 40 years experience in the construction industry. His commercial construction career brought him to Columbia, South Carolina as the chief Field Engineer on the University of South Carolina basketball arena. After working for a local construction company, he then became Director of Construction for a real estate development company, which ultimately led to the successful creation of Mashburn Construction in 1976. Harry has dedicated his life to his company and his employees and fosters a family environment with a keen sense for selecting, training and developing key people in management positions. LYNN SHEALY, Vice Chairman Field Operations
Lynn joined Mashburn Construction in 1985 and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. He has served in the Mashburn organization in several capacities and currently holds the position of Vice Chairman Field Operations. Lynn is involved in the strategic direction of the company with a special focus on operational efficiency, safety and on-site production. Key professional affiliations: Associated General Contractors Carolinas Branch; Central Midlands Technical Preparation Consortium; Columbia Contractor’s Association; Governor’s Building Codes Council.   


PAUL MASHBURN, President and Chief Operating Officer
Paul graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Building Science and Management in 1991. He has extensive experience in all aspects of building construction generated from a lifetime of involvement in the industry. He is directly responsible for all company activities, including hiring and supervising Project Managers, Superintendents and other management personnel. Paul is also very involved in establishing company-wide policies for the operations of Mashburn Construction. Key professional affiliations: Associated General Contractors; Charleston Chamber of Commerce; Clemson Advancement Foundation Board; Columbia Rotary Club; Columbia Chamber of Commerce.  

H. LEE MASHBURN, JR., Executive Vice President, Pre-Construction
As Executive VP, Pre-Construction, Lee is responsible for developing business relationships, strategic partnerships and oversight of pre-construction activities. A 1996 Civil Engineering graduate from the University of South Carolina, Lee works with clients during the planning and development stages of projects and helps manage the pre-construction process through contract negotiations. Lee is located at the corporate office in Columbia and spends much of his time working with the Charleston and Myrtle Beach offices focusing on client relations and business development. Key professional affiliations:  Associated General Contractors; International Council of Shopping Centers; South Carolina Economic Development Alliance; South Carolina Hospital Association; Urban Land Institute South Carolina.  

ROBERT PARSONS, Chief Financial Officer
Robert Parsons joined Mashburn Construction in August 2004. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeast University, Boston, MA and a MBA from Suffolk University in 1995. Robert is responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury, and information systems. Key professional affiliations: Associated General Contractors of America; Columbia Economics Club; Construction Financial Management Association.

 

JANE ANDREWS, Vice President, Administration
Jane has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. Today she serves as Vice President Administration and Executive Assistant to Harry Mashburn and Lynn Shealy. Her responsibilities include the management of the corporate office and supervision of the administrative staff; she also researches and maintains the company benefits and insurance programs for employees. Key professional affiliations: National Association Of Women in Construction.
