Lindy Morris of Mashburn Construction recently spearheaded a campaign to assist the devastated areas of Alabama in their rebuilding efforts. Marshalling the combined resources of Chuck Bagley, SCDucks.com, individuals from Mashburn Construction, key subcontractors and many others, Lindy was able to collect donations and countless bags of clothing, boxes of water, canned goods and miscellaneous items, all of which the church was thrilled to receive. Lindy said “We spent some time at the church helping receive and distribute goods as well as talking with the locals that are trying to recover. I also spent some time with the local construction management group that is over the church and the university. They are overwhelmed with the rebuilding process, 14 hours a day, 7 days a week. The day the tornado occurred they spent that night (their entire company, 120 regular employees plus approximately 400 that came in from out of town that night) securing the hospital for all of the injured.”
