Located just off I-77, the new, 44,000 square foot Dick Smith Ford dealership includes Sales, Parts, Service & Repair, Car Wash & Detailing departments. The second floor of the facility includes administrative offices and parts storage.

Major features of the facility include concrete tilt panel construction, a steel roof structure and TPO roofing; a traction elevator; composite metal panel cladding; glass curtain wall; various specialty roll up doors; an underslab exhaust discharging system in the Service shops; and extensive trench drains.

This project was set on a fast-paced schedule developing a 7-acre site. Despite 62 days of weather delays over the course of the project, including the historic flooding in 2015, the project was still delivered to meet the Owner’s original Grand Opening date.

Mashburn worked in close coordination with Owner vendors for their automotive service lifts, specialty tools and car wash equipment; this enabled our team to minimize disruption to the Service Department schedule as they transitioned from the previous site.
