CIU Rossi Dining Hall

Mashburn completed this project using Construction Management At-Risk with the university. Extensive preconstruction services were provided involving multiple pricing iterations and value engineering options prior to delivering a fast-tracked construction sequence. The project consisted of the renovation of an existing kitchen as well as dining and serving areas, and included the addition of a banquet hall with new restrooms. The main design features were a parapet-high glass curtainwall system and an interior glass Nanawall folding partition. Mashburn added an elevator and an elevator shaft and upgrated the existing restrooms to make them compliant with ADA requirements. A sprinkler system was added to provide complete coverage to the existing building, the renovations and addition, and the student center on the lower level.
