Hotel Florence

This project was a historical restoration and renovation of three buildings to create a hotel located on a tight downtown site. Our team worked diligently, using mindful considerations with the design and planning to ensure disruptions were kept to a minimal. The upscale hotel offers 48 guest rooms and one Grand Penthouse, which includes a private second floor outdoor patio with a view of downtown Florence. The hotel also includes a fine dining restaurant and bar on the first floor, a fitness room, and a business center. Numerous existing materials were re-purposed for this project. To meet historic guidelines, Mashburn worked closely with the S.C. State Historic Preservation Office. The oldest building that was renovated dates back to around 1854.
