The Intern will collaborate with team members across departments while gaining exposure to real-world projects, providing a foundation for future full-time opportunities in the construction industry.
An entry-level plumber working under a licensed plumber/supervisor to assist with tasks that include cutting and assembling pipes, cleaning job sites, responding to client inquiries, and assisting the plumber in other daily tasks.
Mashburn Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the daily supervision of all trade contractors on-site and for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently. The Superintendent will also conduct daily quality control inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and standards. Experience in healthcare construction is strongly preferred, as many of our current and upcoming projects take place in active medical or hospital environments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and committed to maintaining a safe and high-quality job site.
Works closely with the preconstruction manager during the planning phase of every project to provide continuity in all phases. Conducts preconstruction meetings with assigned personnel from each subcontractor and evaluates contract documents to plan start and completion times, as well as to determine the staffing requirements for each phase of construction. Oversees and assists with construction supervision, develops construction means and methods, ensures materials and workmanship conform to plans and specifications, and ensures that all safety requirements are met.
