Mashburn Construction adds to Columbia personnel, supporting continued growth

Columbia, S.C. — Mashburn Construction is proud to announce five new additions to the company’s Columbia location.

Sarah Besler joins Mashburn as an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator supporting the company’s Upfit Division. Sarah is originally from Iowa and brings experience from an architectural estimating background. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Construction Science Management and resides in Lexington, SC.

Davis Deese has been hired as an Estimator in the company’s Preconstruction Department. Davis previously interned at Mashburn and came on board immediately following graduation from Clemson University with a major in Construction Science Management. He is originally from Lugoff, SC and works to support multiple divisions of the company in the estimating capacity.

Kevin Heagle joined the Mashburn team as a seasoned Superintendent. He brings more than 24 years of construction industry experience with a variety of project types. Kevin is currently working on the City of Columbia Finlay Park Revitalization project and resides in Elgin, SC.

Thomas Lackey came to Mashburn earlier this year with prior experience working for one of our primary subcontractor partners. He was hired as a Project Engineer and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Marketing. He is currently assigned to multiple projects working with the City of Columbia.

Cameron Mashburn interned with Mashburn over the last few years and officially came on board full-time as a Project Engineer. He is currently working on the Emmaus Church project in Irmo, SC and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science Management.
