Mr. Mashburn started the company in the study of his home over 40 years ago. The company’s first project was a small retail store on Beltline Boulevard for the Love family, who remain a client to this day. The company has steadily grown, now with offices in Charleston and Greenville in addition to the headquarters in Columbia. Paul Mashburn and H. Lee Mashburn Jr. take over the two major leadership roles in the company, CEO and President respectively, while Harry remains Chairman of the Board.

The changeover will be seamless as Paul and Lee are fixed in maintaining the company’s core values: integrity, teamwork, quality and creativity. Mashburn’s tagline of Building with Integrity hints at the notion of involving the contractor early to avoid conflict & frustration on the client's part. The next generation of leaders has emerged and Mashburn Construction will continue to strive for a family atmosphere with dedication to and concern for its clients.
