New Amenity Center at Nexton completed by Mashburn Construction
Charleston, S.C.— Mashburn Construction has completed the new Del Webb Amenity Center at Nexton. Located at 1260 Del Webb Drive in Summerville, the highly anticipated multi-use, multi-purpose center will serve residents at the new Del Webb Community in the master-planned neighborhood. The 26,000 SF facility includes both indoor and outdoor features.
At full build-out, approximately 1,000 residents in the Del Webb Nexton community will use the facility. The cutting-edge facility offers Del Webb Nexton homeowners access to outdoor amenities such as a resort-style saltwater pool and lounge area, an alfresco kitchen and courts for tennis, bocce ball and pickleball. Indoors, the clubhouse features a freshwater pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center with an exercise studio for yoga, Tai Chi and aerobics and multiple gathering spaces for card games, hobby clubs and social events. Throughout the amenity center entrances, high-level security features have been installed with access controls and cameras.
The Del Webb Nexton amenity center was designed by STG Design and was built by Mashburn Construction Company. PMC Commercial Interiors oversaw interior design and the building’s engineering and landscape architecture were performed by Seamon Whiteside + Associates.
