Agape Extended Care

15,632 square foot new addition that adds 30 beds to the existing campus and provides hospice care and skilled nursing services.

The large site provided ample laydown area; however, a few challenges were discovered after our team broke ground on the project. A considerable amount of rock was unearthed – the rock was either excavated or plans were reconfigured to assure that the soil was suitable for the facility. Additionally, a 15’ retaining wall was necessary on the rear of the site. The completed site now includes a building pad and parking lot area for future business endeavors.

The single-story, wood-framed structure features a brick and vinyl siding façade and an architectural shingle roof. Other features include a porte-cochere, dining and activity rooms, a beauty salon and a laundry room.

To lessen the disruption to neighboring businesses, Mashburn scheduled the necessary concrete pours early in the morning.

This completed addition is connected to the Agape Senior Lexington Assisted Living Facility (also constructed by Mashburn) by a golf cart path.
