Ben Lippen Addition and Renovation

Mashburn completed a two-story addition and renovation to Ben Lippen School. The project included minor renovations to the existing campus, which was occupied during the construction phase. The addition increased learning potential for 100 new students in chemistry, robotics, engineering and visual arts. The first floor consisted of a lobby area with a student common area, seven general classrooms, ten offices, two separate student restroom facilities, a secretary area, a teacher’s lounge, a computer lab, a student bank, two separate stairwells, a janitor’s room and a mechanical room. The second floor consisted of an additional lobby area with more student common space, nine general classrooms, two science labs with separate classroom and storage areas, a chemistry lab with a separate prep room and storage, a library with an A/V room and office/storage space, another teacher’s lounge with separate restroom facilities, two stairwells, a janitor’s room and a mechanical room. Mashburn also installed a new elevator and elevator shaft, security provisions and a sprinkler system for the existing building.
