The project entailed the gutting of a 40-year old building while keeping the shell and the brick veneer. The 28,840 SF facility, which had multiple uses during its lifespan, was renovated as a medical office building. 10,000 SF of the second level was renovated for a doctor’s clinic. Other tenants include a laboratory, ambulatory surgery center, cardiologist, physical therapist, and administration suite.

The interior atrium is open air with an added roof that allows natural views and daylight to enter the open space. Various exterior finishes include painting of brick, installation of fiber cement panels, metal panels, storefront, EIFS and Stucco.

Mashburn overcame challenges such as low structural ceiling heights, asbestos abatement, installation of a new elevator and new exterior shaft. The owner had a quick turn around of the core and shell to meet the developer’s milestone. We were then tasked with an aggressive tenant build-out.
