Historic renovation of an existing, 10,500 SF, two-story space downtown. The first floor includes a bar, tasting area, retail space, and restrooms in the front area; the rear portion contains the space for manufacturing alcohol. The second floor includes office space, a partial kitchen, restroom and locker room.

An extensive amount of materials were salvaged and restored from the existing building, including: bar façade; bar barrel rack; retail wall barrel rack; 100% of the wood countertops; second floor wainscoting; and the mezzanine floor and stairs. The tight downtown site required considerable coordination of subcontractors, City of Charleston and tenants in neighboring buildings. The Distillery project was completed within an accelerated schedule.
