Coleman Central

Mt. Pleasant, SC

EE Fava Architects designed the mixed-use building facing a highly trafficked area of Mount Pleasant. The exterior features included nearly 30% of glass storefront or curtain wall systems. The building was constructed from structural steel and metal stud framing with stucco and tongue and groove artisan Hardie plank and metal panels. The building also includes 20 parking spaces with concrete sidewalks, custom planter boxes and elaborate exterior cornices. Through separate contracts, Mashburn completed multiple jobs on a tight timeline. At the time of this project, Beach Residential, the residential sales division of The Beach Company, occupied approximately 2,000 SF of the second floor including 7 offices, a conference room, a co-working space and a kitchenette. The design featured glass work as a focal point of the building with modern, clean elements mixed with shiplap walls in the kitchen area.
