Concentrix
Greenville, SC
The Concentrix Office Upfit encompassed 140,000 square feet and included drywall partition, mechanical piping, electrical design and carpet demolition to create open areas throughout each floor. New walls were constructed to separate specific client areas on each floor and create private offices and conference rooms.
The design-build method was utilized to create the electrical design with collaboration between the Owner, Mashburn, the electrical contractor, and the electrical engineer. The design was based on the Owner’s electrical needs that included reworking & relocating existing outlets and overhead lights as well as overhead power for the Owner’s cubicle power poles. Additional electrical design was also added to facilitate the Owner’s IT requirements.
Over 10,000 square yards of old carpet was replaced with new carpet that incorporated the colors of the Client’s brand. Additionally, all existing and new walls were painted the Client’s brand colors.
The project team carefully coordinated and managed the completion of each floor. By staggering the schedule and completing each floor separately, the Owner was able to coordinate furniture installation prior to the completion of the entire building.
