Mashburn Construction was chosen to complete a 17,966 SF hospice facility using the Design-Build project delivery method. The single-story, wood-framed hospice facility included 20 private rooms, 8 semi-private rooms (36 beds), and specialized rooms for bariatric residents. The facility also included a chapel, common dining areas and family flex rooms to meet the needs of the residents and their loved ones. A unique feature of this project was the generator, which was installed to power the entire building in the event of a power outage. The exterior finishes consisted of brick and fiber cement siding, as well as architectural shingles. Our team assisted the Owners through the entire DHEC and licensing process. Mashburn’s team met the Owner’s schedule and completed the job within budget.
