Grand Strand Regional Medical Center Medical Office Building

The office building for the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center was a five-story building which was constructed using a tilt-up concrete building envelope with wall panel systems. This project was the first five-story tilt-up in the state of South Carolina. Demolition and site improvements included concrete curb, gutter and sidewalks. Landscaping improvements were made to the landscape surrounding the building’s perimeter and parking islands were improved to meet the City of Myrtle Beach zoning ordinance. Mashburn maintained functionality of existing utilities (fire protection and domestic services) throughout the construction process. The project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule. Mashburn also completed all of the tenant upfits in the building, which were also delivered under budget and ahead of schedule.
