Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spring Street

This project was the renovation of a 65,000 sf hotel located on Spring Street in Charleston, SC. The project was focused on enclosing the guestroom balconies of the existing, eight-story hotel. The balconies became a part of the interior space, creating larger guestrooms equipped with new hurricane-rated windows and high efficiency air conditioners. The lobby has all new casework including: new breakfast bar area, two new check in desks with Tambora accent walls behind and multiple other pieces to accommodate guests gathering in the space. There are new light fixtures, flooring, paint and furniture in the common area space as well. Our team expanded and upgraded the IT room to provide additional power and adequate HVAC for the new space. The kitchen was relocated and the new kitchen required new plumbing and electrical to be installed to accommodate the needs of the kitchen equipment. All 153 guestrooms, as well as the corridors, were renovated with new carpet, wallcoverings, paint, doors and case goods. The corridors also have hurricane-rated windows and high efficiency air conditioners.
