Lexington Medical Center Vault 2 TrueBeam LINAC Replacement

Mashburn renovated the existing vault #2 at Lexington Medical Center with a new Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator while the oncology department remained fully occupied with patients receiving treatment. Our team coordinated with vendors such as Varian and Vision RT to ensure the renovated room complied with all equipment requirements. The scope of work included replacing an existing accelerator as well as the surrounding finishes and MEP systems. Construction included demolition, casework, framing and drywall, finishes, ceiling systems, miscellaneous specialty items, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Mashburn followed explicit safety protocols throughout construction, including special COVID-19 requirements.
