Navistar International Pure Power Research and Development Facility

20,000 SF two-story addition to Pure Power’s R&D facility in the SCRA Research Park. Scope included steel framed construction, metal stud framing & drywall and a stucco exterior. The addition provided offices for engineering and office support on the 2nd floor, a lab area to accommodate welding and other types of experimental work, and additional open work areas. This project was delivered through a design/build agreement where Mashburn and Pure Power agreed on a GMP based on a preliminary scope. Preconstruction planning and coordinating design efforts were important to get this project moving forward, delivering a building that is both affordable and meets their functional requirements.
