Mashburn completed the historic renovation of the former First National Bank & Business Center located on Washington Street. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in approximately 1924, the massive stone façade is characteristic of 1920’s architecture. The three-story facility features a variety of meeting rooms, conference rooms and administrative offices, as well as a commercial kitchen and an outside seating area. The original vault was restored & relocated to provide a unique meeting space and for visual appeal. Numerous historic materials were refurbished during the construction including the existing plastered ceiling and the existing windows. Mashburn provided pre-construction services and construction management for the project. Extensive measures were conducted to prevent disruption to the area as well as to ensure pedestrian safety.
