Mashburn is constructing a two-story automotive dealership, complete with administrative offices, sales offices, a showroom and full-service automotive repair shop. The first floor will house a showroom and sales offices, while the second floor will have additional sales offices and administrative offices. The automotive repair shop will be accessed through the back of the building. The dealership will have rapid chargers capable of fully charging an electric vehicle in approximately 20 minutes. Scope of work includes the creation of a large parking lot to hold the dealership’s inventory and site lighting. Mashburn worked with the owner and the architect to modify the design due to challenges related to the supply-chain. Modifications include changing steel bar joists to structural steel wide flange steel joists and changing the roof install from polyiso to eps installation.
