Whaley House

This project is a historic renovation of a 3 story historic house built in 1882. The building includes a cafe and 6 new apartments ranging in size from studio to 3 bedroom. Mashburn restored existing open air front porch with historically accurate columns and railings and octagonal window. Mashburn also reconfigured the top two runs of stair to address low head height clearance at stair to 3rd floor and restored existing windows and doors by removing the metal windows that were added during the 1940s renovations and new interior and exterior painting. An ADA ramp was added to the side entrance to wrap around the building.
