Mashburn Construction gains new business development director in Charleston

Mt. Pleasant, S.C. — Mashburn Construction is pleased to announce the hire of Julianne Dunning as the Director of Business Development for Mashburn’s Charleston location at 1202 Chuck Dawley Blvd., Mt. Pleasant.

“With the expansion of our coastal division, we are excited to have Julianne join us. She brings with her a diverse and unique background in the construction industry that will help us to build new relationships and continue to grow our footprint in the area,” says Paul Mashburn, CEO of Mashburn Construction.

As Director of Business Development, Julianne is responsible for building upon existing and cultivating new relationships in Charleston and surrounding areas. Julianne will play an integral role in growing the company’s already expansive portfolio in Charleston while also seeking innovative ways to better serve our clients, both new and existing. She joins Mashburn with nearly 15 years of experience in the construction industry along with an in-depth knowledge of multiple trades in the Charleston market. Julianne attended College of Charleston, where she studied Communications.

Though she grew up in the Upstate, Julianne is a Charleston native and moved back to the area in 2003 for college. She still resides in the Charleston area with her husband, David, and their 11-year-old daughter. In her spare time, Julianne enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling and being on the water.

“I have personally known Julianne for more than seven years and witnessed her dedication and knowledge within the AEC industry. She brings a fresh outlook with her background in sales and we are excited to see the ways her unique experience will elevate our team,” says Richard Kinard, Vice President of Mashburn’s Coastal Division.

Mashburn Construction completed the expansion of their Charleston office last year, adding to the company’s overall presence on the coast. The addition provides the extra space required to accommodate for future growth and will allow Mashburn to continue being good stewards of the local community. “Building Better Communities” is at the heart of Mashburn’s vision where the firm strives to make a positive direct impact on each community and client of the diverse markets they serve.
